Windowsills

 

Our production of plastic windowsills profile is cellular form that allows to reach maximum product resilience, which is especially important for the installation of windowsills in larger apertures.Operation of the radiator heat do not deform windowsills . Perfectly smooth surface, elegant noselite, surface decorative films soft matt surface and color diversity can see and evaluate even the most demanding customer. Windowsills is additionally coated with a protective film which allows protection of the product during installation. Ends of the windowills lids tips. We offer caps with and without noselite.

1. . Plastic windowsills have excellent thermal insulation features. Since windowsill area inside a room is quite large, in case of natural or synthetic stone windowsills, cold shall thrust from the wall to the room.
2. Plastic windowsills are not sensitive to damp. If walls of your building are cold, outdoor cold (frost) meets indoor warmth and forms damp (dew point) inside the wall, which affects windowsills mounted there. In case of poor room ventilation window glass sweats and the condensate flows onto windowsills. While watering flowers windowsills also often suffer consequences of our sincere efforts. In all the said cases windowsills which are irresistible to damp will deform, mould and loose paint or other covering.
3. Plastic windowsills are durable, easy-cleanable with domestic cleaners, resistant to friction and sun rays as well as hardly flammable.

1. Take measurements of hole width and cut the windowsill (if necessary) to the proper length. (Recommendable length of a windowsill is 6-10 cm longer than width of window hole.)  
   
   
2. Before the installation on the visible part (edges, sides) of windowsill tips should be applied.
   
   
3. PVC windowsill is installed by bracing it on the supporting logs. Supporting logs have to be allocated every 50-60 cm.
   
   
4. The endings of windowsill have to be let into wall reveals 3-5 cm. The horizontal and slope have to be checked by spirit-level (by the direction of a room from the side of window the slope can be not more than 3%).
   
   
5. 5. When windowsill is backed-up to upper window reveal by wood logs, all cracks between windowsill and window hole (from the bottom) have to be filled by installation froths. We advise to use installation froths of two components, thus will let You to control the expansion level of froths.
   
   

Suggestion – if You want to protect the sealing material from the humidity, cover internal and outdoor installation froths by the water-resistant material – acrylic. Then do the installation works.

IMPORTANT: Protective films have to be removed only after the installation and reveal finish works are totally finished.
